Guardians Training Camp: Day 2
HOUSTON – Day 2 of the New York Guardian Training Camp is in the books and Head Coach Kevin Gilbride was pleased with the teams’ overall effort.
“Today’s workout was a lot better, its not even close to where it needs to be, but I was very proud of the offensive line," said Coach Gilbride. "They sucked it up, hung in there and gave us a chance to do somethings on offense."
The team was vibrant and had more energy in Tuesday’s workout.
One offensive player who has been outstanding in drills over the first two days is wide receiver Teo Redding. The former Bowling Green standout and has shown his ball skills making play-after-play during invidual and team drills.

NEW ADDITIONS TO THE TEAM
The have been some new additions to the Guardian roster. They are:
- Jordan Agasiva - OG - Utah
- Tavion Jacobs - WR - Maryland
- Charles Kanoff - QB - Princeton
- Teo Redding - WR - Bowling Green
- Charles Wright - DE - Vanderbilt
A "WARM" TEXAS WELCOME
The weather for first two days of camp has been phenomenal. From the picture below, the Guardian players love the sunshine, blue skies and weather in the mid-60's.
"I thought the offense improved today which enabled them to make some plays. They gave the defense a chance to be challenged and I thought they responded well."
On Tuesday, the Guardians return to the practice field for Day 3 of Training CAmp at Houston Baptist University.
The XFL will unveil the rules for the 2020 season Tomorrow as well.
