Lookback at Widcats' historic victory

The Los Angeles Wildcats pulled off a historic victory over the Tampa Bay Vipers on Sunday.

Down 24-6 with 6:28 left in in the first half, the Wildcats scored 27 unanswered points and added a late scoop-and-score by DT Boogie Roberts to secure the 41-34 victory.

With the W, the Wildcats secured a trio of XFL records to date: Largest comeback (18 points) and combined score (75). Los Angeles is also the first XFL team to surpass 40 points during the 2020 season.

QB Josh Johnson, who eclipsed the 1,000-yard passing mark for the season, tossed a season-high four touchdowns to four different receivers.

"It shows that we can be explosive. I mean I think we show that at times, but we have got to be more consistent. We've been more consistent lately and we have to just keep going together. Injuries are killing us as well, so there's a lot of different things going on but we've got to find a way just keep firing away, and not blink. We have to focus on our work and our execution and just try to keep improving," Johnson said postgame from Dignity Health Sports Park.

Josh Johnson tossed four TD passes.
