Scott Harniman, SVP, Enterprise Technology
Scott Harniman is Senior Vice President, Enterprise Technology at the XFL. In this role, Scott is responsible for all functions of Information Technology and overseeing the XFL’s technology strategy, infrastructure buildout and delivering best-in-class systems to support the entire league. In addition, Scott will shape the football technology program by promoting innovation across emerging platforms.
Scott brings over 20 years in technology infrastructure experience to the League. He first joined the XFL in 2018 as the VP of Enterprise Technology. While in this position, he built a scalable, cloud-only infrastructure to support the XFL’s business and football operations that – when combined with its fully integrated HCM system – allowed the league to successfully onboard 1000+ employees across 17 remote offices in less than a year.
Harniman was also instrumental in the management and coordination of the event operations teams that supported core football technology during the 2020 season and will continue these duties in his current position.
Harniman previously spent 17 years at the WWE where he focused on emerging technologies and cloud solutions, including the implementation of an end-to-end identity management and authentication program for the organization. During his tenure, he also supported the WWE’s shift to a cloud-first infrastructure and played a pivotal role in helping build and implement the foundation of their enterprise data warehouse.
Prior to working at WWE, Harniman worked in the IT Department for inaugural launch of the XFL in 2001 and has remained passionate about the league and the belief that blending innovation with football is a must-see experience.
He graduated with a BS degree in Marketing from Stonehill College in 2000.
