Terrell Buckley, Head Coach

Buckley was previously at the University of Mississippi, where he spent two years as the Cornerbacks Coach. He previously was the Safeties Coach at Mississippi State, the Cornerbacks Coach at University of Louisville and University of Akron and a Coaches Assistant at his alma mater, Florida State.

He is a 14-year NFL veteran and Super Bowl XXXVI Champion. He was selected fifth overall by the Green Bay Packers in the 1992 draft and went on to play for the Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, New York Jets and New York Giants. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2019.

Buckley attended Florida State University where he played both football and baseball. He is the school’s all-time leader in interceptions (21) and interception return yards (501), the latter of which is an NCAA record. In 1991, he won the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation’s top defensive back as a Junior and is one of just 11 players to have his Jersey retired (#27).
