Wildcats' Top Photos from Week 2
Brace for impact.
The Los Angeles Wildcats came up short during Sunday's home opener, falling 25-18 to the Dallas Renegades.
Head coach Winston Moss was proud of LA's defensive effort, which included two interceptions (see 1 & 2), a forced fumble and a pair of sacks.
“The defense, basically they emptied their buckets today. I said that we had our swords broken last week. This week it looks like we kind of ran out of gas," Moss said. "And there is a difference. The difference is, will being broken as opposed to just not having enough energy at the end."
QB Josh Johnson, who tossed two touchdown passes (see 1 & 2) to WR Nelson Spruce and completed the first three-point conversion in XFL history, said the Wildcats felt the energy of the Dignity Health Sports Park crowd.
"We just have to come out and get a win for them," Johnson said.
THANK YOU to all the fans!
