Jones cleared to play; Nelson to start vs. BattleHawks
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Dallas Renegades quarterback Landry Jones has been cleared to play, the team has announced.
“With his limited reps in practice, we’ll enter the game with Landry listed as our No. 3 quarterback,” Dallas head coach Bob Stoops said. “We will reassess our quarterback situation on Monday, but feel positive about his progress.”
Quarterback Philip Nelson will be listed as the No. 1 quarterback, followed by Eric Dungey. The Renegades open their season on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. CT at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The game will be nationally-televised on ESPN.
