BattleHawks Announce Anheuser-Busch Partnership
ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis BattleHawks and Anheuser-Busch InBev announced Tuesday a new partnership naming Bud Select the team’s official beer and Anheuser-Busch the team’s official malt beverage provider.
Bud Select will also serve as the presenting partner of the BattleHawks’ Happy Hour
Plus (+) fan engagement program, where football fans are able to eat, drink and learn about the XFL from members of the BattleHawks organization.
The two homegrown organizations officially launched their partnership and welcomed BattleHawks’ fans to the first Bud Select Happy Hour+ on Tuesday at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten in Downtown St. Louis.
“The Battlehawks are St. Louis born, and Bud Select is ‘Brewed for The Lou,” which makes us perfect together,” said BattleHawks presidet, Kurt Hunzeker. “A shared love of football and joint commitment to the St. Louis community will drive our partnership with Anheuser-Busch, and we’re excited to engage fans together.”
As part of the partnership, the Battlehawks and Bud Select will expand Happy Hour+ events to additional locations across St. Louis and the surrounding area, including The Dome at America’s Center. Anheuser-Busch will also host fan activities and bring its famous pop-up bar to BattleHawks’ tailgates at Baer Plaza prior before each home game.
