Around the XFL: Finish strong

RB Donnel Pumphrey poses during the DC Defenders' Media Day on Tuesday.

HOUSTON -- On Tuesday at TDECU Stadium, the XFL hosted its final two scrimmages of 2020 Training Camp:

(Catch up on Monday's pair of scrimmages between the Dragons and Defenders and the St. Louis BattleHawks and Dallas Renegades.)

As was the case Monday, the four teams who didn't take the field made the rounds at their respective Media Days (these teams with FOX), giving us plenty of peeks behind the curtain as the regular season approaches.

    'I almost juked myself'

Dragons running back Ja'Quan Gardner described his dazzling Monday scoring scamper after the scrimmage with the Defenders:

    Hot wheels

Speaking of happy feet, Renegades wideout and visor peacock Jeff Badet had some issues with his kicks while in Houston:

    Tell you once again

At least Badet also helped quench our thirst for another windshield win:

    Ya know.

    Join the Hunt

St. Louis tight end Cole Hunt talked about his touchdown snag during Monday's scrimmage against the Renegades and his progress during Training Camp.

    Delicious distraction?

The BattleHawks -- including quarterback Brogan Roback -- are obviously hungry.

    Growling for a score

Chicago Bears safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix chimed in on Wildcats wideout Kermit Whitfield's touchdown Tuesday:

    Outside the lines

While trying to creatively hold off PFT Commenter for the kicker job, the Defenders' Hunter Niswander tried to draw more attention on his own skills while being the latest XFL Media Day artist:

    Flashing Lights

While quarterback Cardale Jones faced the cameras:

His teammates -- DE Kristjan Sokoli, WR Eli Rogers, RB Donnel Pumphrey and fellow signal-caller Tyree Jackson -- didn't shy away from mugging for the crew.

    Black Dragons

Seattle's social game offers up something a bit more noir.

    Cowboy up

Training Camp may almost be over, but while he starts to drop the hottest country album of the year, Renegades quarterback Landry Jones reminds us that the regular season is almost here:

Around the XFL will play the final notes of 2020 Training Camp on Wednesday.
