Texas connection 

Dallas Renegades quarterback Landry Jones brought the new football during a sitdown with CBS Dallas Fort Worth. 

Jones discussed his reasons for getting back into football; reuniting with head coach Bob Stoops (“shoot, let’s do this thing, man”); his father-in-law's history on the mound at Globe Life Park; and his wife’s high school dominance on the court, including defeating an NBA star in a three-point contest: 

King for a Play 

One of the players added in Friday’s Supplemental Draft was former Oakland Raiders punter Marquette King, now a member of the St. Louis BattleHawks. 

"The Unicorn" led the NFL in yards per punt (48.9) for 2013 and will bring the party whenever he lets one sail.
