Wildcats inactives include two key offensive pieces: WR Nelson Spruce and RB Martez Carter (hip).
The Guardians will be without starting quarterback Matt McGloin (thorax) and will roll with Luis Perez -- originally assigned to the Wildcats on XFL Draft day -- under center to start things off.

The Guardians hold off a late rally from Los Angeles to pull even at 2-2. The Wildcats dip to 1-3.

The Wildcats get another sensational catch, this time from Tre McBride, who made sure the refs and review folks know he did, in fact, snag it.
However, Nick Novak missed a 44-yard field goal that would've capped the drive. New York still leading 17-14.
4th QTR: Settling for 3
After a drive carried by RB Darius Victor, the Guardians have to get away with some points, so they have to wind up with their third field goal of the game.
Matthew McCrane does it again. 17-14 Guardians as the clock keeps ticking in the final quarter.
3RD QTR: SUMMERS THRIVES IN COLD
Guardians cornerback Jamar Summers makes a clutch interception off a Josh Johnson throw late in the third quarter, knocking it away from Tre McBride, snagging it from the air, and returning it 16 yards to New York's 45.
The third quarter ended soon afterward, with this clash still tied at 14.
3RD QTR: Pounce on opportunity

Matthew McCrane contributes his second field goal -- from 23 yards -- to tie this game up 6-6.

Tre McBride gets a pass with no defenders around him for an easy four-yard touchdown connection.
After an unsuccessful two-point attempt, it's 6-3 Wildcats.
