Around the XFL: Training Camp, Day 2
HOUSTON -- Training Camp started Sunday.
Another milestone event is coming Tuesday....
But first, time to address Monday, in the form of highlights from Training Camp, Day 2.
Pads on
The Los Angeles Wildcats geared up -- literally.
Clean it up
When he failed to convert an interception opportunity, St. Louis BattleHawks safety Kenny Robinson knew he messed up. He decided to cut his coaches off at the pass and take discipline into his own (betraying) hands.
The former All-Big 12 talent could be eyeing down plenty of those when the season starts.
Talk To 'Em
Want more safeties making noise? The D.C. Defenders' Rahim Moore abides.
Runaway Moose
Dallas Renegades camp failed to wrangle a large, well-known Moose: former Dallas Cowboys fullback and current Renegades director of player personnel Daryl Johnston.
Whether it be from players, coaches, front-office stalwarts, or someone in between, the XFL still has plenty of training camp action to come, which hopefully makes readers -- and certainly does make Seattle Dragons running back Lavon Coleman -- feel like dancing.
