Around the XFL: Training Camp, Day 10
HOUSTON -- The rain continued to fall as the teams put the final touches on their gameplans ahead of Wednesday's scrimmages.
Catch of the day
One of the trades that recently went down saw the Defenders acquire wide receiver Rashad Ross from the Wildcats.
Ross, who went at Pick 2.1 (ninth overall) in the XFL Draft and finished second in receiving yards for the Alliance of American Football, gives the Defenders “another dynamic playmaker that can help us to stretch the field, and more importantly, when we put the ball in his hands, he’ll find a way to get to the end zone,” Defenders head coach Pep Hamilton said.
Rashard Davis, whom the Defenders chose with the first draft pick in league history, recently joined the Tennessee Titans' practice squad.
