Around the XFL: Thank you

Check out the latest from the XFL

Around the XFL is back to serve as a small escape as everyone is hopefully being safe at home.

And yes, we miss football.

Thank you, Fans

The XFL took to social media on Friday to announce that they will not be returning to the football field in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Commissioner Oliver Luck and president Jeffrey Pollack penned a letter, thanking the amazing XFL fans for a great first season and remidning them to look forward to 2021.

Players react

Some of the stars from the XFL have taken to social media to show some love to the leagues' fans during these tough times.

Throwing it back

The first five weeks of the XFL season sure did have some incredible moments. The teams and their fans made sure to showcase their favorite ones.

We start with the XFL's first kickoff return for six from St. Louis BattleHawks' Joe Powell.

Or what about BattleHawks punter Marquette King's almost jaw-dropping punt? So close to amazing.

What about Houston Roughnecks wide receiver and three-tiume XFL Star of the Week Cam Phillips hyping himself up on the sidelines after a big-time TD?

Or how about New York Guardians quarterback Luis Perez finding Colby Pearson for an absolute BOMB.

And from that same game, the league's second-ever kickoff return for a touchdown from Austin Walter?

Now we miss football even more .

*one tear strolls down our face*

We all need this amazing moment between St. Louis quarterback Jordan Ta'amu and a young fan. Who doesn't need this little smile today?
